Avi, a Director in the firm’s SEC Solutions Group, LLC, brings 20 years of specialized public company accounting and financial experience, including extensive knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, internal control, treasury, risk management, corporate governance and other specialized restatement and public company related matters. Having served in CFO and financial management roles, as well as a CPA firm professional, Avi has the unusual scope of capabilities required to deliver the advisory services offered by the SEC Solutions Group and is uniquely qualified to understand the growing compliance and regulatory challenges that small and midsized publicly traded companies face.

Prior to joining SEC Solutions, Avi was a Partner at a large consulting practice, providing strategic and operating leadership to the office of the CFO. Avi previously served in various CFO and senior financial positions, including as Interim CFO of Comverse Technology, Inc, a public multinational software company, where he project managed a complex restatement process and led numerous formal consultations with the SEC Staff over a two year period. Avi began his career in the Audit and Business Advisory practice of a Big 6 accounting firm in 1990. He has also served on the board of directors of public companies Verint Systems Inc. and Ulticom, Inc. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business.
