Christopher B. Hegarty, CPA, specializes in providing audit and business consulting services to businesses of all sizes. He focuses on broker-dealers, construction contractors, and retail, manufacturing, and distribution companies. He joined Citrin Cooperman in 2009 as a partner in the Philadelphia office.

Chris has more than 23 years of accounting experience, having worked at CPAs firms, including a Big 4 firm, as well as serving as the corporate controller for a publicly traded national retail chain. In his previous position, Chris served as CFO on an outsource basis for several emerging growth businesses in the Philadelphia area.

Hegarty has a great deal of experience helping businesses establish accounting policies and procedures and in assisting organizations transform their accounting functions, particularly through periods of high growth and high stress.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and serves as a member of the PICPA Executive Committee.
