Ed has spent more than 30 years providing proactive tax, business valuation, professional practice appraisal and financial forensic services to a wide range of businesses and individuals.

Founding his own practice in 1980, Ed joined the firm in 2007 and has expertise in servicing high net worth individuals, executives, doctors, lawyers, athletes, entertainers, musicians, commercial photographers, automobile dealerships, restaurateurs, manufacturers, real estate entrepreneurs and other professionals; fiduciary estate and trust clientele, and a diverse variety of other businesses as well.

He currently pens a monthly tax column for "The Island Current", a monthly newspaper on City Island in New York City.

Ed is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP), the National Association of Estate Planners Council (NAEPC), the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County (EPCWC), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and is the current president of the New York Chapter of NACVA.

In addition to his CPA credential, Ed also maintains the following certifications: ABV (Accredited Business Valuator, issued by the AICPA), CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics, issued by the AICPA), CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst, authorized by NACVA), and AEP (Accredited Estate Planner, sponsored by NAEPC). He frequently attends seminars in order to stay up to date on current valuation and forensic accounting topics to better serve his clientele.

Ed lives in City Island with his wife and has two grown sons. In his spare time, his interests include his family, music, computers, and golf. He is also deeply involved with the world renowned Calvary Hospital, where he sits on the board of directors and is a member of both the finance and audit committees. His volunteer work involves overseeing the budget, policies, and fulfillment of the hospital's mission statement.
