Grimaldi, a CPA and tax attorney, is a partner in the tax services and estate and financial planning practices.
Jim provides strategic tax planning, research and compliance services, including the preparation of consolidated tax returns for corporations and partnerships. He has worked extensively with business owners and high net worth individuals on tax consultation and compliance, and with family offices. Grimaldi also advises individuals on estate and trust planning.
Grimaldi is licensed as a certified public accountant in New York, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is admitted to the New York State Bar, U.S. Tax Courts and the Southern and Northern District Courts. Grimaldi is a member of the N.Y. State Bar Association and serves on its Committee of Income of Estates and Trusts and its Committee on Estates and Gift Taxes. In October 2002, he was appointed by the Department of the Treasury to the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel.
Grimaldi earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Fordham University, and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He lives in Brooklyn.
