A partner in Citrin Cooperman's Philadelphia office, James A. J. Revels provides comprehensive, customized and innovative planning, administration and income tax services for early-stage corporations, private equity funds, high net-worth individuals, family office groups, closely held entities, senior executives and employees of publicly held and private corporations. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of taxation and financial planning.

Previously, Jim was a partner with Carrow, Doyle & Associates, LLP, and a former senior manager at KPMG.

Jim also has a great deal of experience providing expert witness opinions and testimony for law firms, and has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state agencies. He regularly assists corporate shareholders, employees and partners in designing and implementing tax-advantaged entity structures using trusts, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, and related investment and estate planning strategies.

Jim is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Montgomery County Estate Planning Counsel. He is a contributing author to the Pennsylvania Tax Handbook 2003 edition published by American Lawyer Media. He has successfully passed the Series 65 exam and has been the guest speaker at multiple functions for various financial societies and Big 4 Accounting Firms.

Jim has a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Villanova University and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business and Marketing. He is currently licensed to Practice in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Jim is also a Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Non-Profit Children's Hospital - Exceptional Care for Children.
