James V. Lynch is a partner in the litigation department. With more than 27 years of experience in all aspects of accounting, Jim has specialized in forensic accounting since 1998. His forensic accounting experience includes measurement of economic damages, alleged copyright infringement, asset and income search for marital disputes, as well as dissenting shareholder lawsuits, employee embezzlement, and bankruptcy.
Jim is qualified as an expert witness before both the New York and New Jersey courts. Jim is a Certified Fraud Examiner accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a Certified Valuation Analyst accredited by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Certified in Financial Forensics accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jim joined Citrin Cooperman & Company in 1998, and was promoted to Partner in 2007. He received his bachelors degree from Hofstra University and his masters degree in accounting from Long Island University. He lectures frequently at local colleges.
In his spare time, Jim is an avid skier and kayaker.
