Like a major automotive manufacturer, quality is priority No. 1 for Jeffrey Gittler, a partner in the firm's Quality Control department, working out of the Philadelphia office.
Jeffrey has more than 25 years of audit and accounting experience, and is responsible for ensuring that the firm's work meets the highest standard levels
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, in 2008, Jeffrey served as a technical manager at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). There he was responsible for performing technical reviews of peer review work papers and conducting on-site oversight of the peer review process.
Since 1980, Jeffrey worked for a number of accounting firms in eastern Pennsylvania, providing accounting and tax services to non-profits, and companies in the professional services and retail sectors, among others.
Jeffrey is a member of the AICPA and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, and was a past member of the Board of Governors of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Institute of Internal Auditors. He formerly served as Treasurer of the Local Board of the Arthritis Foundation.
Jeffrey graduated Indiana University (Pa.) cum laude with degrees in accounting and management information systems.
