Mark S. Carrow, managing partner in Citrin Cooperman's Philadelphia office, provides tax services and business consulting advice to closely held entities, executives of publicly held corporations, and development-stage enterprises.

He focuses on implementing tax and certain financial planning strategies at both the corporate and individual level to optimize the tax implications of any business transaction, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Mark also works with start-up companies to provide the appropriate entity structure, valuation expertise, and finance consulting with angel investors, venture capitalist firms, and broker-dealers.

Mark joined Citrin Cooperman in November 2009 from Carrow, Doyle & Associates, LLP, where he was the founding partner. Previously, Mark was the former Director of Taxation of a regional accounting firm and also served as a Tax Manager with KPMG.

Mark has a Master's of Science degree in Taxation from Widener University in Delaware County, Pa., and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Walsh University in Canton, Ohio. His professional associations include memberships in each of the American, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
