Matt focuses his practice on all aspects of business appraisals and forensic accounting. With more than 20 years of experience supporting attorneys during litigation and other disputes, he is also qualified as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Matt's expertise includes business and enhanced earnings valuations, income computations for support and maintenance, asset tracing, and assisting clients and attorneys with financial support.

Matt joined Citrin Cooperman in 2004. His specialties include matrimonial and commercial litigation, business appraisals, and fraud investigation.

A graduate of Queens College, Matt is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the American Society of Appraisers' ASA accreditation program. In addition, he is also a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. Matt also has a CFF credential (Certified in Financial Forensics) issued by the AICPA.

In his spare time, Matt coaches his sons' baseball teams and serves as a board member for the Oceanside American Little League in Oceanside, NY.
