Matthew W. Lakofsky is a senior manager in the Tax Group, in Citrin Cooperman's Philadelphia office. Matthew joined the firm in November 2009 when his previous firm, Carrow, Doyle & Associates, was acquired by Citrin Cooperman. He has more than 11 years accounting and tax experience.

He is responsible for servicing the tax compliance, research, planning and financial reporting needs of the firm's clients. Matthew has strong experience in working with partnerships and S corporations, and with real estate, legal and financial service industries. He also provides individual tax preparation services for high net worth individuals.

Matt is also a certified valuation analyst and has considerable experience in performing valuations on closely held companies. Prior to joining Carrow, Doyle, Matt was a financial analyst for Motorola, a Fortune 500 company. He also served as a tax supervisor at KPMG LLP for over four years where he specialized in corporate, partnership and individual taxation.

He is an active member of the American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Matt has served on the sub-committee for the Montgomery County American Red Cross and has voluntary performed financial analysis the Delaware/Chester County Home Builders Association for the past two years.
