Harold Shulman, JD, CPA

Partner

Hal provides tax, estate, and financial planning for businesses and individuals. In addition to his CPA designation, Hal is an attorney who has been admitted to the Bar of the State of New York. He is a partner in the firm’s New York City office and joined Citrin Cooperman in 2006 when his previous firm, Shulman, Cohen Furst, combined its practice with Citrin Cooperman.

Hal is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Association of Attorneys and CPAs and the New York State Bar Association. He lectures and writes on various tax topics.

Hal holds a B.S. in accounting from New York University, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and a Masters in Tax Law from the New York University School of Law.

Honored recently by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, who presented him with the Wolfe Duberstein Human Relations Award, Hal serves on the International Board of Governors of B'nai B'rith International and is their treasurer.
