Alan A. Schachter, CPA, ABV, CFF, CVA, CFE, DABFA
Partner
Alan is a partner in the Valuation & Forensic Services Group providing business valuation services, economic damage analysis, forensic services, intellectual property valuations, and infringement analysis. He has provided expert testimony in disputes ranging from bankruptcies to copyright infringement and white-collar criminal defense and contractual disputes. He works out of the firm’s New York, NY and Norwalk, CT offices.
He has also served as a receiver for two healthcare facilities in New York State and was appointed as a special consultant to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for enforcement matters.
Formerly a managing director at Willamette Management Associates, Alan brings over 40 years of experience to his engagements.
Alan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed in New York and Connecticut. He is also a certified as a fraud examiner and valuation analyst through the AICPA. Alan has a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from Pace University, and an Advanced Certificate of Taxation from Pace University.
