Provider Relief Fund Update: Assisted Living Facilities Now Eligible

On September 1, 2020, United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a press release expanding the eligibility for Provider Relief Funding to state-licensed/certified assisted living facilities. These facilities can now apply through Phase 2 of the General Distribution for up to 2% of their 2019 patient service revenue. To apply for this funding, providers must submit an application here. The deadline to apply is September 13, 2020.

Providers should be aware the Provider Relief Funding comes with significant terms and conditions governing the use and tracking of funds as well as reporting requirements.
