Flying Kite covered the firm's Driving Your Business: Women at the Wheel program in the February 2 article "Philly's Top Women Business Leaders Tell Their Stories." The event featured four successful business leaders at a January 21 breakfast which included Catherine M. Cahill, President and CEO, the Mann Center for the Performing Arts; JoAnne Epps, Dean, Temple University Beasley School of Law; Julie Coker Graham, President and CEO, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau; and Suzanne S. Mayes, Chair, Public & Project Finance Practice Group, Cozen O'Connor. The program was moderated by Citrin Cooperman partners Mary Brislin and Colleen Vallen.

Some key takeaways:

On improving gender parity in the workforce: "Be vigilant as to what is happening to us, and be vigilant as to what is happening to others," said Dean Epps.

On "impostor syndrome" in high-powered jobs: "It’s about recognizing the moment of self-doubt," said Suzanne Mayes. "What do you do about it? There’s no such thing as a work-life or mom-career balance. Instead, it’s about "integration" with the right personal and professional support."
