Citrin Cooperman Admits John Cavallone to Financial Services Practice

Citrin Cooperman is pleased to announce that John Cavallone has joined the firm as an audit partner.  Cavallone will be based out of the firm’s New York City headquarters. Specializing in the financial services industry, Cavallone will have a focus on broker-dealers and private equity funds. He has in-depth experience advising a variety of financial industry clients, including broker-dealers, private equity funds, family offices, middle-market, investment managers, FCMs, and institutional investors.  He is actively involved with regulatory consulting and assisting clients with structuring and regulatory matters especially during the start-up phase.

Cavallone is a well-known advisor to broker-dealers, having provided expert testimony in addition to his long-term interactions with the various regulatory agencies. He has presided over the annual Broker-Dealer Conferences sponsored by The Foundation for Accounting Education and assisted and consulted with various regulatory bodies at the request of clients, inclusive of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.  Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Cavallone was most recently an audit partner at KPMG in the financial services practice.
