Citrin Cooperman Ranked in Top 30 Largest U.S. CPA Firms In "Inside Public Accounting" Annual Top 100 Report
Citrin Cooperman, a leading accounting and business consulting firm, was recently ranked the 28th largest accounting firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, a leading trade publication, in its annual Top 100 Firms report.
Citrin Cooperman has consistently been one of the fastest-growing accounting and business consulting firms in the United States, and 2010 was another important year for Citrin Cooperman: the firm added partners and staff in southern Connecticut and moved its office to Norwalk; the firm also expanded its music, entertainment and royalty practice in New York City, and added partners and staff in its Springfield, NJ and Philadelphia offices.
Citrin Cooperman was also granted a license to transact business as an approved auditor in the Cayman Islands, and joined Moore Stephens North America (MSNA), a leading association of accounting firms in the United States and internationally.
As the firm entered its fourth decade of service, it also unveiled an updated brand to better reflect the size and scope of the services offered to their client base – emphasizing its evolution in providing dynamic business advisory services to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Citrin Cooperman is the fourth-largest accounting firm headquartered in New York, excluding the Big 4 firms. The firm has a large presence in Philadelphia, PA, Springfield, NJ, White Plains, NY, and Norwalk, CT.
In this latest ranking, the firm increased its 2010 revenues to $102 million. Combined, Citrin Cooperman has grown more than 28 percent over the last four years. Consistent growth has been a hallmark of Citrin Cooperman, which had revenues of just $18 million in 2000.
Among the top 100 firms in the IPA report, the average increase in net revenues was just 1 percent over the previous year, with 41 percent reporting a decline in net revenues from the previous year.
“I am especially happy that our growth has not compromised the quality of our service, our culture, our infrastructure or our profitability,” said Joel Cooperman, the firm’s co-founder and managing partner. “We are proud to be one of the country’s largest firms.”
