We are saddened to announce that our partner and friend, Steve Bibas, passed away on April 29th.

Steve was an audit partner in our Woodbury office who worked with clients in a variety of industries. He first became a partner in 1998 while at RSSM where he also served as a member of the Executive Committee. In 2015 he co-founded JM CPA and then joined Gettry Marcus in 2017 where he stayed until joining Citrin Cooperman in 2023 with the rest of the Gettry Marcus team.

A resident of Sarasota, Florida – Steve was an active member of his community. He had a great sense of humor and a unique ability to make friends wherever he went – Steve could talk to anyone. He was also a movie buff and enthusiast, as well as a black belt in karate. Steve will be deeply missed.
