Brian is a director in Citrin Cooperman's IT and focuses on driving innovation through the intelligent use of automation, AI, and modern platforms. He brings more than 15 years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, and product strategy, with a strong track record of aligning technology solutions to business outcomes across a wide range of industries.

Brian specializes in translating complex business requirements into scalable, configurable technology solutions — with particular expertise in Azure Cloud, .NET, AI integration, and Agile delivery. His experience spans multi-industry client environments including government, pharmaceutical, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, and real estate. He has led cross-functional teams through end-to-end software delivery, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and enterprise process improvement. Brian holds the Azure AI Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft, reflecting his hands-on expertise in building and deploying AI-powered solutions using Microsoft's cloud services.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Brian served as senior software development manager at a managed IT services, cybersecurity, and technology consulting firm in Columbia, SC, where he led multi-disciplinary teams spanning consulting software engineering, SaaS product development, AI/ML and data engineering, web design, and business analysis. Over more than seven years in progressive leadership roles, he directed the development of a SaaS municipal utility payment platform, spearheaded firm-wide DevOps automation and process standardization, and led AI and automation initiatives leveraging OpenAI and Azure AI services. Earlier in his career, Brian held software development roles while delivering mission-critical solutions for government, law enforcement, and education clients.
