Cody is a director in Citrin Cooperman's State and Local Tax Services Practice. Cody has nearly a decade of experience helping commercial real estate owners and investors on real property tax consulting, valuation analysis, assessment appeals, and strategic tax minimization initiatives across the United States. Cody works with a broad range of clients, helping them identify opportunities to reduce property tax liabilities while navigating complex state and local assessment processes. Cody works with clients on assessment reviews, appeals, valuation analyses, property tax forecasting, and tax planning strategies across a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes. He has helped clients realize tens of millions of dollars in property tax savings through strategic advocacy and data-driven analysis. He is recognized for translating complex valuation issues into practical, result-oriented solutions.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Cody served as a senior manager at a tax practice and previously held management and senior consulting roles within a Big Four's Property Tax and Real Estate Advisory Practices. Earlier in his career, he worked at a boutique consulting firm where he developed a strong foundation in commercial real estate valuation and property tax consulting. Throughout his career, Cody has led multi-state property tax engagements, managed large client portfolios, mentored teams, and supported business development efforts for national real estate owners, operators, investors, and corporate occupiers.
