Darryl is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Practice. He has a proven track record of designing tax-efficient capital structures and spearheading sophisticated cross-border litigation financing transactions.
Darryl has held pivotal leadership roles at major financial institutions and consulting firms. He previously served as a managing director and head of the global tax counsel group at a global financial firm, where he oversaw global tax administration for one of the largest bankruptcy estates in U.S. history. His expertise in distressed assets and Chapter 11 restructuring was further honed when he served as a senior managing director at a global business advisory firm, where he founded and led their U.S. Transactions Tax Practice, offering guidance on high-profile bankruptcies, including Sears and Toys "R" Us.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Darryl served as head of global tax for a global finance and investment management firm specializing in litigation finance.
