EXPERIENCE

Deb is a director in Citrin Cooperman's IT team and joins the firm with more than 20 years in software engineering and engineering leadership. Deb is a hands-on technical leader who pairs deep architecture experience with a people-first approach to building engineering teams.

Deb was most recently a senior director of engineering at a no-code enterprise ERP platform company. She was the company's first software engineer and helped grow the engineering organization from one person to a 30-person team of developers and architects supporting a multi-tenant enterprise platform. She architected foundational platform components that still underpin the product nearly a decade later. She built a reputable, high-accountability engineering culture, created structured career paths across engineering levels, and helped shape the high-level design of the company's agentic application development initiative.

Before that role, Deb co-founded a software company delivering Windows and web applications for real estate professionals, and co-led an IoT-based smart irrigation venture, from concept through commercial release. Earlier in her career, she taught physical education before returning to school for a computer science degree and moving into software engineering.
