Jan Goren is a partner in Citrin Cooperman's Los Angeles office with over 45 years of experience in public accounting. Whether he is working on a complex business matter, or a civil litigation case, Jan is not satisfied until the problem is properly and efficiently solved.

Jan’s professional background covers all areas of business and tax consulting, tax planning, and litigation support. He has extensive experience in buying and selling businesses, consulting on best business practices, and generally helping clients navigate complex tax and accounting issues.

Jan has worked on over 350 matters as a consultant or expert witness. His litigation focus allows him to engage in analyses of cases relating to damage computations, lost profits, accountants’ malpractice, and criminal matters. Jan has assisted law enforcement and testified on behalf of the United States Government.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Jan was the founding partner of Goren, Marcus, Masino & Marsh in 1979, a local CPA firm in Los Angeles, CA, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2021.
