John is a partner in Citrin Cooperman's Assurance Services Practice. He serves as a specialist to investment managers, broker-dealers, and alternative investment funds. With more than 25 years of public accounting experience, he brings extensive expertise in audit and assurance services, helping financial services organizations address complex accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

John leads audit engagements for domestic and offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, fund of funds, investment advisers, and broker-dealers. He works closely with executive leadership teams and key stakeholders to provide strategic insights, strengthen financial reporting processes, and support regulatory compliance in an increasingly complex business environment.

Recognized for his technical acumen and client-focused approach, John helps organizations navigate evolving industry challenges while maintaining a strong focus on transparency, governance, and investor confidence. Before joining Citrin Cooperman, John was a senior manager at a business advisory firm's Financial Services Practice and at a regional public accounting firm, where he developed extensive experience serving investment funds and other financial services entities.
