John is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Services Practice. He brings over 25 years of experience in addressing the complex financial and tax challenges faced by closely held, growth-oriented companies.
Known for his ability to build strong teams and provide practical solutions, John goes beyond the numbers to help clients interpret financial results and plan strategically for the future. With a background in both accounting and law, he offers comprehensive guidance that integrates financial and legal perspectives, ensuring well-rounded solutions for his clients.
In addition to his work with clients, John is a frequent lecturer and has served on the accounting and finance faculty at Fisher College.
Previously, John was a partner at LitmanGerson Associates, LLP (LGA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026.
