Josh serves as the regional managing partner for Citrin Cooperman’s Southeast region and market managing partner of the firm’s Miami, FL offices. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Josh delivers comprehensive tax, and business consulting services to closely held businesses and private clients. With deep expertise in complex tax and accounting matters and providing specialized services in civil litigation as well as buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory.

Josh has significant experience across a wide range of industries, including real estate, hospitality, international, retail, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. In the real estate sector, he oversees assurance engagements for private real estate funds and manages tax compliance for funds, joint ventures, and international reporting for foreign investors. In addition, Josh offers guidance to large hospitality groups in South Florida, offering strategic business consulting and tax compliance services.

As a business insight resource, Josh has led numerous financial due diligence engagements on both the buy- and sell-sides, leveraging his extensive background in assurance, advisory, and tax structuring. He also dedicates part of his practice to commercial litigation, supporting damage analysis, and providing knowledgeable testimony. Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Josh served as managing partner of Appelrouth, Farah & Co. (AFC) which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022.
