Katarzyna, a tax director in Citrin Cooperman’s New York City office, has over 18 years of experience in public accounting. She works closely with high net worth individuals on matters involving their personal income tax, family businesses, and fiduciary, gift, and estate taxes.

Katarzyna is a CPA, providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for federal and multi-state income tax returns for high net worth individuals, trusts, and private foundations. Additionally, she plans and reviews federal gift tax returns and assists with budgeting, projections, and cash flow matters. Katarzyna also represents clients before federal and state taxing authorities.

Katarzyna began her career in the tax department of a Big Four firm, with a focus on not-for-profits. She then worked at a boutique CPA firm specializing in serving high net worth individuals and family office clients, as well as not-for-profit healthcare providers. Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Katarzyna was a senior manager in the Personal Wealth Services Group at Berdon LLP, which joined the firm in 2023.
