Kirk is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Private Client Services Practice, with over 40 years of experience as a tax and advisory professional. He works closely with business owners and individuals to design tailored tax and family strategies that deliver efficient, practical solutions. Kirk is committed to building long-term client relationships by providing deep technical expertise and consistently delivering high-quality, proactive services.

Having worked at both local firms and Big Four firms, Kirk has broad expertise in public accounting. Kirk’s extensive experience includes real estate, high-net-worth clients, family planning and succession. He is also well-known for his skills in international tax, which he has practiced for over 35 years. Kirk’s proficiencies comprise of entity structure and classification, research, consulting, planning, and compliance.

Previously, Kirk was a partner at Gatto, Pope & Walwick, LLP (GPW) for 28 years, which merged with Citrin Cooperman in 2025. Before joining GPW, Kirk spent five years with a local CPA firm and five years with a Big Four Firm as a tax manager.
