Experience

Louise Cody is an audit partner with over 25 years of accounting and audit experience. She has served both public and private middle-market companies in a variety of industries, including biopharmaceutical and medical device companies, manufacturing and distribution and various service businesses, including apparel, retail, and publishing.

Louise is highly experienced working with multi-national companies and SEC reporting. She has extensive expertise in providing various types of audits in relation to mergers and acquisitions for entities acquired by private equity groups. Louise also performs consulting services for entities that are in the process of completing IPOs.

Louise is one of the leaders in the firm’s Audit Practice addressing how technology, driven largely by big data analytics, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and other innovations, will impact the audit methodology of the future, for the firm and the profession. Citrin Cooperman is a leader in the AICPA’s Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) Project – 36 of the largest firms in the United States along with the AICPA and CPA.com have pooled their resources – financial and talent – to develop a new, transformational audit methodology. Louise leads one of the key committees of the DAS project, the Methodology Group.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Louise was an audit director at a regional firm. She also previously served as a manager in the internal audit group of a multinational insurance corporation with over 63,000 employees globally.
