She offers guidance to clients on complex tax matters, compliance requirements, and strategic planning initiatives designed to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Marissa specializes in federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax planning, tax research, and consulting services. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including finance, manufacturing, and consumer products and includes helping large Corporations, S-Corporations, and partnerships on a broad range of tax matters. She works closely with executive leadership, finance teams, and business owners to identify tax-saving opportunities, mitigate risk, and develop strategies that align with organizational objectives. Known for her analytical mindset and collaborative approach, Marissa is committed to delivering exceptional client service and practical solutions that create long-term value.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Marissa served as tax director at a privately held, technology-driven finance company, where she led corporate tax functions and strategic tax initiatives. She also held the position of senior tax manager at a Japanese multinational company overseeing various aspects of tax compliance, year-end provision, and tax planning for a multinational organization. Earlier in her career, Marisa worked at a Big Four accounting firm as a senior tax associate where she provided tax services to a diverse client base and developed the technical foundation that continues to support her work today.
