Mark is a managing director and practice leader for Citrin Cooperman's Portfolio Valuation Services Practice within Citrin Cooperman’s Valuation Advisory Services group. He oversees one of the largest independent portfolio valuation practices in the U.S., valuing thousands of securities across a multitude of investment strategies, asset classes, product types, and geographies for some of the most respected alternative investment managers in the market.

In his role, Mark also leads business development and provides senior relationship management across the practice's client base. His responsibilities include new client acquisition, expanding existing relationships, identifying emerging market opportunities, and building and developing the practice's team. Mark is also leading the practice's technology initiatives to support scalability, enhance the quality of the firm's valuation delivery, and improve the client experience.

Mark has overseen valuation engagements, including fairness and solvency opinions, across a wide range of private and public transactions for private equity and private credit firms, their portfolio companies, and directly with companies involved in M&A, related party transactions, capital raising, asset transfers, and leveraged recapitalizations.

Today, Mark is a recognized voice in the private markets, regularly moderating panels and speaking at major conferences including the SuperReturn series, LPGP Connect, BDC industry events, and other private market forums.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Mark served as managing director and head of New York business development at Murray Devine Valuation Advisors which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022. Before Murray Devine, Mark spent more than 20 years in the institutional capital markets covering institutional investors across equities, fixed income, high yield, and alternative strategies.
