Matthew is managing partner in Citrin Cooperman's Business Management and Family Office (BMFO) Practice and has led the firm’s Entertainment, Music, and Sports Industry Practice since 2021. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, Matt serves as a business insight resource to high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses, guiding them through business management, investment consulting, tax planning and compliance, and long-term wealth strategy.

Matt oversees the personal and business affairs of a distinguished roster of clients, including high-profile individuals in entertainment, professional athletes, and C-suite executives, as well as prominent mid-market companies with operations from the United Kingdom to Los Angeles, CA. He is known for pairing deep technical tax expertise with highly attentive, personalized service, delivering a bespoke approach to wealth management tailored to each client’s goals. His leadership has been recognized by The Hollywood Reporter, which has named him one of Hollywood’s Top Business Managers for six consecutive years.

Before joining the firm, Matt built his technical foundation at several of New York’s fastest-growing private accounting firms, where he helped small businesses, corporations, individuals, estates, and not-for-profit organizations on a broad range of tax matters.
