Rashida is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Services Practice. She has experience serving clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, restaurants and hospitality, law firms, medical practices, real estate, and financial services. Her hands-on approach allows her to build strong relationships with clients, offering practical, personalized support to help them navigate their accounting and tax needs.

Rashida focuses on helping her clients improve their business efficiency and better understand the financial aspects of their operations, ensuring that they can make informed decisions that support growth and success. She also assists with accurate tax reporting for Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) transactions and corporate stock options.

Previously, Rashida was a partner at LitmanGerson Associates, LLP (LGA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026.

Earlier in her career, Rashida served as a chief financial officer for a multinational start-up, where she set up internal accounting policies and procedures, trained staff on sound accounting practices per Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations, and oversaw the financial and operational affairs of the company.

In addition to her work with clients, Rashida is also an adjunct accounting professor at the University of Massachusetts - Lowell, where she shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of accountants.
