Robert is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s National Assurance Office, supporting the firm’s quality control function. He has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for-profit organizations and privately held businesses.
Robert’s expertise in audit and assurance, combined with his hands-on approach, makes him a business insight resource for clients. His ability to improve financial processes and enhance internal controls allows business leaders to make more informed decisions with confidence.
Previously, Robert was a partner in LitmanGerson Associates, LLP (LGA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026. His extensive background also includes his role as a controller for a not-for-profit organization, where he successfully reengineered the accounting department, improved financial reporting processes, and strengthened internal controls.
