Experience
Rob is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Services Practice. Over the course of his career, Rob has gained extensive experience serving individuals, trusts, partnerships, and privately held corporations. His specialties include tax compliance, tax planning, and consultations for business owners and key executives. Additionally, he represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
Rob helps clients devise strategies for entity formation planning, mergers and acquisitions structuring, and minimizing state income taxes. He works closely with many law firms, professional services providers, professional athletes, and restaurants as well as businesses in a variety of other industries.
Previously, Rob was a director and a member of the tax leadership and training committee at Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025.

Rob actively supports local community and school organizations. Rob is the former treasurer of the Welles Park Parents Association, a youth baseball and softball league, and Stop Foodborne Illness, a national not-for-profit dedicated to public health
Outside the Office
Rob is a big sports fan. He attends many Chicago Cubs games and roots on his hometown Seattle Mariners from afar. He spends fall and winter cheering on the University of Michigan football and basketball teams. Rob is also a supporter of the local craft brewing scene, attending events and also working with the owners.
