EXPERIENCE
Scott is responsible for the M&A Integration function at Citrin Cooperman driving the firm’s inorganic growth. He partners with firms joining Citrin Cooperman from the beginning of diligence and is the architect and operator of the firm's post-close playbook, translating signed transactions into durable, value-accretive combinations across both traditional accounting practices and advisory and consulting firms. Since joining the firm, Scott has directed integration for a continuous pipeline of over 30 transactions, managing workstreams while safeguarding client experience and partner retention through day one and beyond.
Scott brings more than a decade of experience building and operating businesses under pressure, with a track record spanning government, aerospace, healthcare, and now professional services. He is known for designing integration architecture that preserves the acquired firm's leadership, culture, and go-to-market motion rather than defaulting to full absorption — a differentiated approach that has become a hallmark of Citrin Cooperman's platform strategy.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Scott spent over 12 years as a U.S. Army officer, leading organizations in high-stakes, resource-constrained environments at home and abroad, and departing the service at the rank of major. He then moved into the aerospace sector, where he owned a global value chain, driving the buildout of new production sites and output capacity to support an international customer base. Scott subsequently transitioned into healthcare, where he led inorganic growth integration strategy and execution for one of the largest public healthcare companies in the US — directing multiple integrations, corporate restructurings, and carve-outs of both public and private businesses.
