Shanna is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s IT and engineering specialist with more than 12 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership. She has led distributed engineering teams across the United States, Central and South America, and Europe, overseeing product delivery for offerings representing a significant share of company revenue.

Shanna provides guidance on technical and product roadmap planning, working with executive leadership to align technical strategy with business objectives. She has led implementation strategies across multiple product domains and has played a key role in driving company-wide artificial intelligence adoption, including collaborating on governance and security guardrails for AI use in regulated financial technology and compliance environments. She also built an AI-powered bug triage tool that is now used across multiple teams.

She is recognized for stabilizing underperforming divisions, including turning around a high-revenue product area and reducing defect rates by over 90 percent, sustained for nearly two years. Shanna also led the migration of 80,000 customers to a new platform, protecting approximately half a million dollars in monthly revenue.

Earlier in her career, Shanna held senior engineering management roles at various organizations, including serving as lead front-end engineer at a mental health social media platform and as a front-end engineer at a national retailer. She also worked as a mobile software engineer and scrum master at a U.S. public energy utility, developing enterprise applications for hydro, nuclear, and environmental data collection.
