Shawn M. Howard serves as Citrin Cooperman’s president, Non-Attest Core Services. In this role, he provides strategic and operational leadership in collaboration with the firm’s regional teams, focusing on delivering exceptional client service, ensuring technical quality, developing staff, and driving regional growth.

Shawn brings deep expertise as one of the firm’s tax partners, having offered guidance to domestic and international clients, including government contractors, professional services firms, technology companies, and private equity groups, on compliance, planning, and strategy. Throughout his career, Shawn has specialized in partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs), corporations, S Corporations, and the complex issues impacting their shareholders and members.

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Shawn held senior leadership positions at leading accounting and professional services firms. He began his career with a CPA firm in Milwaukee, where he built the foundation for his client-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
