Experience
Stacy is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s National Tax Office with 25 years of experience specializing in state and local tax matters.
Stacy has cultivated a dual-perspective approach, leveraging a deep understanding of both private-sector needs and government enforcement priorities to deliver efficient, strategic resolutions for clients. She has managed complex multistate income/franchise tax matters and controversy issues, including nexus reviews, voluntary disclosure agreements and tax amnesty programs. Stacy has developed rigorous audit defense strategies and, serving as a primary liaison with state revenue agencies, has secured substantial tax savings, refunds, and liability reductions for clients. Stacy also has extensive experience managing tax compliance for complex, tiered partnership structures.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Stacy was a senior manager at a Big Four accounting firm. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Major Tax Unit of the City of Philadelphia Law Department.
