Experience
Tom is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Private Client Services Practice. Tom’s expertise covers a range of areas including closely held businesses, individual taxation, construction taxation, and financial reports. His specialties also extend to stock option planning, real estate transactions, and medical groups.
Previously, Tom was a managing partner of Gatto, Pope & Walwick, LLP (GPW), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025. He joined GPW in 1998 and became a partner in 2005. Before his time at GPW, Tom worked as a tax manager at an accounting firm serving the middle market.

Outside the office, Tom enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Gema, and their two English bulldogs, Ozzy and Luna. Tom also enjoys time with his four children, Joseph, Jennifer, Jessica, and Michelle, and three grandchildren, Finn, Reid, and Bennett.
