Brian Cooper is the director of real estate and facilities at Citrin Cooperman and is based out of the firm’s New York City office.

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Brian was the founder of Den Road Partners (DRP), a boutique construction and facilities management consulting firm.

Before founding DRP, Brian served as an operating partner with a middle market private equity firm. He held the role of global real estate advisor to the firm and its portfolio companies. His responsibilities spanned diverse areas, including office, retail, industrial leasing, international restaurant expansion, casino renovations, and retail brand development.

Prior to joining the private equity firm, Brian was a project executive with RXR Realty (RXR). While at RXR, Brian was responsible for managing construction management teams, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial oversight for a portfolio of five Class A buildings totalling 4 million square feet.

Before RXR, Brian was a director of construction services for Jones Lang Lasalle Inc. (JLL) where he led a project and development team responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, pre-construction, and construction management.

Prior to JLL, Brian spent several years in various roles with Hines Interest Limited Partners (Hines). While at Hines, Brian’s roles included development planning in London, construction management in New York, and property management in Greenwich and Chicago.

Brian was also a leasing specialist with Shorenstein in Chicago. Brian worked on a team that marketed and leased both office and retail space at The John Hancock Center, 500 Monroe, and Prudential I & II.
