Experience

Cecilia Rubio is a director in the firm’s Business Process Outsourcing Practice and is based in the White Plains office. Cecilia possesses more than 20 years of experience and a multifaceted skillset, having been both an audit manager at a regional accounting and consulting firm and an outsourced CFO/controller for several multimillion-dollar not‐for‐profit organizations.

Cecilia works directly with clients’ management teams, leadership committees, and board members to help define and track financial goals. She is responsible for overall fiscal operations, directing internal financial programs and procedures, budgeting, projections, cash flows forecasting, and dashboard reporting. Additionally, she increases efficiency, using technology to streamline workflow processes and adopting best practices around internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) compliance.

Cecilia began her career at a large regional accounting and consulting firm where she provided accounting, audit, tax, and consulting services for a variety of organizations, including real estate, manufacturing, retail, construction, and hospitality companies. Additionally, she handled employee benefit plans to ensure compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) guidelines, liquidation trusts, internal control engagements, and forensic examinations.
