Constantine Sophos, a tax partner, has over 25 years of experience in tax planning and preparation. He advises a range of clients in the apparel, professional services, technology, and real estate industries, as well as broker-dealer firms, hedge funds, and other financial services businesses. 

As a tax specialist, Constantine helps his clients address all aspects of planning, reporting, SEC support, and tax compliance. For high net worth individuals, his areas of expertise include partnership taxation, real estate taxation, SALT, tax controversy, tax planning, and general tax and accounting support.
 
Constantine also specializes in advising clients in the professional services industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge to partner capital account reconciliations, multi-state tax planning sourcing of income, withholding, and special allocation tax accounting. In addition, he helps clients navigate the increasingly complex state tax reporting landscape for multi-state partnerships, making the voluminous regulatory environment less cumbersome and overwhelming.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Constantine was a tax director at a regional accounting firm. Earlier in his career, he served as a high profile tax director for 10 years at a Big Four firm.
