James Mahon Jr. is a partner in the firm's New York City office. He is a leading international tax expert with experience providing high-level tax and accounting services to closely- and privately-owned businesses.
James advises clients across several industries including entertainment, art, real estate, manufacturing, private equity, law firms, trust and estates, private foundations, and high net worth individuals. He has experience working with LLCs, corporations, and S-corps, and advising them on business management, financial statements, consolidated tax returns, and tax planning. He also deals with complex tax matters and tax controversy with Internal Revenue Service and state matters.
Previously, James worked at Hecht and Company, P.C., which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2018.
