Jim Pederson is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Business Process Outsourcing Practice with more than 12 years of experience in accounting and over four years of experience in business operations. He provides a wide variety of accounting, audit, and consulting services to private clients in a number of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, retail and consumer goods, construction and landscaping, professional services, and life sciences.

Jim specializes in preparing and assisting with audits and reviews and consulting on general accounting, business strategy, operations, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls matters. He is also skilled at enhancing internal operations, helping organizations with resource management, process improvement, systems implementations, weekly and monthly management reporting, learning and development coordination, new hire interviews, information technology (IT) troubleshooting, and general operational process updates.

Previously, Jim was vice president of finance and director of operations at Signature Analytics, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2024. Prior to Signature Analytics, Jim was a senior accountant at a leading global telecom and digital infrastructure investment company, working closely with the controller on company audits, consolidating financials for 45 companies at month end, creating and implementing process improvements, and presenting monthly profit and loss (P&L) variance analysis to country leaders.

Before that role, he worked at one of the largest and fastest-growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the nation. As a senior accountant, he prepared and reviewed financials for seven entities, took on two acquisitions, transitioning financials into systems and recording consolidating financial data until fully integrated, and compiled and entered payroll.
