Kim is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s State and Local Tax Practice and is based out of the firm’s Owings Mills, MD office. Kim is an experienced professional with 20 years of her career focused on personal property, sales tax, and gross receipts tax matters.

Kim has worked in both public accounting and private industry, so she has seen the challenges many companies encounter related to indirect taxes. She has experience in various industries including retail, manufacturing, digital publishing, medical services, senior living communities, automotive power generation, and professional services. Her property tax consulting experience focuses on assisting clients in minimizing their tax burden through jurisdiction negotiations, audit defense, valuation analysis, or compliance methodology strategies. She has also been involved with tax technology solutions and software implementation. She has prepared nexus surveys and exposure analysis for sales and use tax clients as well as entered into voluntary disclosure agreements with state authorities.

Previously, Kim worked as a senior manager in the State and Local Tax Practice at Clearview Group, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2024.
