Experience
Mike is a partner at Citrin Cooperman and is based out of the firm’s Owings Mills, MD office. With over 34 years of experience, Mike takes complex issues and makes them simple – saving clients time and frustration. He specializes in financial statement audits, financial reporting, technical accounting, due diligence, financial modeling, corporate governance and policy, and strategic planning. He has led the delivery of audit and related services for companies in all stages of growth. Mike has also served private and public companies from the initial stages of private to public reporting through post-effective filings.
Previously, Mike was a director in the Audit and Assurance Practice at Clearview Group, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2024. He began his career with a Big Four firm in Cincinnati, OH, and then served as a director in the Central Atlantic practice before joining a global audit and assurance, tax and advisory firms as a partner in their Mid-Atlantic practice.

Community Involvement
Mike is active in charitable organizations, currently serving as treasurer of the Maryland Tech Council. He also serves on the board of Mountain Christian Church in Harford County as well as the Epicenter Community Center.
Outside the Office
Mike and his wife Julie are the parents of three children. He spent the majority of his time coaching their baseball and softball teams while they were growing up, and now, he is back to running long distances, walking the dogs, and constantly reading. He and his wife are active in their kids’ lives and in their local church.
