Citrin Cooperman is pleased to announce that Jeff Worsham has joined the firm as a tax partner in the firm’s Entertainment, Music, and Sports Practice. Worsham has extensive experience spanning over three decades, inclusive of a broad base of knowledge in a wide variety of industries, and uniquely specific to the entertainment industry over the last several years. He is based in the firm’s Beverly Hills, CA office.

“Jeff brings a tremendous amount of experience to the firm,” shared Citrin Cooperman CEO Alan Badey. “He joins during a period of immense growth in both our West Coast market and, more specifically, in our entertainment and business management practices. I hope to see that trend continue and I’m very glad to have Jeff on board.”

“Jeff’s deep tax knowledge adds a further layer of strength to our highly respected practice,” said Joe Bublé, leader of the firm’s Tax Service Line. “Our clients will benefit from his tax expertise as well as his ability to offer a range of tax strategies to various industries.”

“I am very excited to join the Citrin Cooperman team. I look forward to utilizing my talents and experience to providing tax benefits to clients, primarily in the entertainment niche,” said Worsham. “Citrin Cooperman has positioned themselves strongly along the West Coast as they structure their foothold using the same recipe of success they have used on the East Coast. The firm’s intense focus on maintaining high-quality client service and a strong team culture is very refreshing and an added plus for those seeking a true work-life balance.”

“The continued growth of our entertainment and business management practices are a testament to our dedication to providing clients with the most extensive support and guidance,” said Matthew Segreto, leader of the firm’s Entertainment, Music, and Sports Practice. “Jeff is yet another great addition to this team, and we look forward to having him.”

Worsham’s knowledge and background is primarily in the tax area, but he also utilizes a unique business view when it comes to taking a big-picture approach with his clients. Previously, he was the Senior Managing Tax Director at NKSFB, a large national business management firm, where he led the NKSFBGO tax division in Encino, CA, as well as coordinated as a tax leader within the firm overall. At his previous firm, Worsham took sole lead in various areas including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG), the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), and benefits that were provided during the critical COVID-19 period.

“The addition of Jeff to the team will help us continue to provide the best resources and talent in the market to our clients,” added David Leventhal, a partner in the firm’s Beverly Hills, CA office. “His recent industry experience and skill set is a valuable asset to our firm, and we are very pleased to have someone with Jeff’s background working with us.”
