John is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Private Client Services Practice with more than 15 years of legal and accounting experience working with complex, multigenerational family offices and their businesses. He provides innovative tax planning and tax saving strategies for individuals and business owners, focusing on income tax, entity formation, asset protection, deferred compensation, succession planning, estate planning, international, and state and local taxation, charitable giving, and estate and gift tax planning.
John works with large family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and closely held business entrepreneurs in a variety of industries, including natural resources, real estate, and distribution.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, John worked for Big Four and regional accounting firms in private client services. His past experience includes managing an estate administration department and working as a trust officer for a regional trust company. John additionally practiced law in South Florida, providing tax and estate planning services to Florida business owners.
