Jon is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Business Management and Family Office practice based out of the Woodland Hills office. Jon is an experienced professional with over 28 years of experience in royalty management.

Jon’s diverse experience in royalties includes catalog valuations, royalty auditing, administering complex royalty streams, negotiating deal points to maximize advances and earnings, and administering complex partnership allocations and leaving member agreements. As a noted professional in royalty management, Jon has testified in court as an expert witness and participated in mediations. Notable cases include The Estate of James Brown v. Greenberg Traurig, Victor Damiani v. Cake, and Sammy Johnson p/k/a Sammy J v. Sea Major Seven, Inc. He has published an article about the need for transparency in royalty auditing in a 2019 publication by the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and has participated in music industry panels.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Jon was a partner at David Weise & Associates / NKSFB and has nearly fifteen years of experience in music business management.
