Marcello is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Practice, focusing on life sciences companies. He brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the firm.

Marcello is a finance and accounting leader who supports venture-backed and growth-stage life sciences companies through many of their key milestones, from early-stage discovery through clinical trials. He collaborates closely with founders, executive teams, and boards to build scalable finance functions and support critical milestones, including financings and initial public offering (IPO) readiness. Marcello brings a practical, hands-on approach across budgeting and forecasting, cap table management and equity modeling, financing support, and broader strategic finance initiatives, helping leadership teams translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. He is known for his practical approach, technical rigor, and strong client-service mindset.

Previously, Marcello was a director at Browne Consulting, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026. He started his career in public accounting at a Big Four firm, where he worked in the audit, global capital markets, and financial due diligence groups. Afterward, he worked in outsourced accounting and finance roles for startups, as well as finance effectiveness for private equity-backed companies.
